The most confusing thing that makes us double-minded is that both of the batteries provide the same voltage of 1.5, so for that reason, people think both of the batteries are interchangeable.
While comparing voltage, we were also confused because both provide the same, but when checking their capacity, we found power’s main point. Undoubtedly both batteries offer 1.5 voltage, but D batteries are more powerful and suitable for devices that need more current.
The capacity comparison reveals that the D battery has a power capacity of up to 17000mAh that is very high than the C battery, which is only 8000 mAh.
C and D batteries are divided into different types on their composition base. C batteries have three types of composition NiMH, NiCd, Li-ion, while the D batteries have only two types of composition, NiMH and Li-ion.
